It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Frances Silliker of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carman Silliker and Ruth Silliker (McKibbon); and her brother-in-law George Gilmore. She is survived by : her sister Twila Gilmore (Dale Hamilton) of Miramichi, NB; her friend Cynthia Tozer (Terry); her nieces, Carol Tozer and Ruth Ingraham (Jordan); her nephew Matthew Gilmore (Cara); her aunts and uncles, Louise Small, Arlene Silliker, Ned McKibbon (Patsy), Anna Silliker and Carmel Silliker; and her cousins, Starlet (Drew), Sandy (Terilynn) and Sonny. She is also survived by many other cousins and grand-nephews and nieces.

In Melanie's memory, donations may be made to the River Church Cemetery Fund or to a memorial of one's choice.
