She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Adams and Mary Adams (McLeod); her husband William Simpson (Bill); her stepchildren, Bernie Simpson (Bev), Agnes McCarthy (Charlie) and Bill Simpson; and her siblings, George, Alfred, Don, Christine, Auley and Jackie.

She is survived by: her children, Wilma Gray (Duane), Beverly Sharp (James) of Texas, USA and David Simpson (Yolanda) of Napan; her stepchildren, Al Simpson (Dorothy), Janet McLaughlin of Miramichi and John Simpson (Debbie); her siblings, Eunice Wilcox (Tom) of Winnipeg, Marguerite Barry (Robert), Hilda Rocca (Ray) of Saint John, Pauline Adams of Miramichi, Norma Mutch (Scott) of Miramichi, Arthur (Lylla) of Napan, Dennis of Little Branch and Brian (Davida) of Miramichi; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Craik and Kim O'Brien. She is also survived by several grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
