We bid farewell to Richard McKay (Miramichi, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 69. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil McKay and Inez McKay (McLean); and his siblings, Freida Scott and Bill McKay. He is survived by: his wife Kimberley Marshall of Boom Road; his children, Katie Marshall of Miramichi and Patrick Marshall of Alberta; his siblings, Trudy Taylor (Terry) of Strathadam, Maureen Harris (Greg) of Trout Brook, Donna Vezina (late Florient) of Colorado and Ned McKay (Deanna) of Fredericton; and his granddaughter Kinsley Bell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery (360 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi, NB E1V2J9).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, New Brunswick Lung Association, or to a memorial of one's choice.
