He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne MacDonald and Queenie MacDonald (MacGarvie). He is survived by: his siblings, Donna (Donald Black) of Rothesay, Hudson MacDonald (late Anita) of Langley, BC and Peggy (Bradley Gorman) of Miramichi; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Gorman (Amanda), Alexander Black, Sarah Shaw (Andrew), Claire and Desmond Shaw; and his cousins, Kathy MacDonald and Myles Brideau (Jackie).

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
