Ruth E. Kierstead Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ruth E. Kierstead (Miramichi, New Brunswick), born in Escuminac, New Brunswick. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lewis and Hazel Lewis (Williston); her daughter Kimberley; and her siblings, Eva Wilkinson (Ken), Bertie Fowlie (Theodore), John and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Kierstead; and her children, Shawna and Paul (Elvie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Andrews United Church (188 Wellington St, Miramichi, NB E1N1M4). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mount St. Joseph would be appreciated by the family.
