We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 98, Shirley Nicholson of Miramichi, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Hume (Smith) and Frank Hume; her husband Charlie Nicholson; and her children, Carol Cook and Andrew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie MacRae and Margaret Murray; her sons-in-law, Dale MacRae, Tom Murray and Wayne Cook; her granddaughters, Krista Shannon and Allison Murray; her grandson-in-law Kirk Shannon; her granddaughters, Sonya, Laura and Sarah Martin; her close friend Edith Creighton; and her cousin Iva O'Donnell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendrier Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendrier Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7).
