We are sad to announce that, on August 4, 2025, at the age of 98, Shirley Nicholson of Miramichi, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Hume (Smith) and Frank Hume; her husband Charlie Nicholson; and her children, Carol Cook and Andrew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie MacRae and Margaret Murray; her sons-in-law, Dale MacRae, Tom Murray and Wayne Cook; her granddaughters, Krista Shannon and Allison Murray; her grandson-in-law Kirk Shannon; her granddaughters, Sonya, Laura and Sarah Martin; her close friend Edith Creighton; and her cousin Iva O'Donnell.
As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. James and St. John United Church, 556 King George Hwy, Miramichi, NB E1V 1N3 or charity of one's choice.
