William Hilchey Obituary
In loving memory of William Hilchey (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who departed this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 88. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hilchey and Mercedes Hilchey; and his siblings, Joan Hilchey, Betty Wilson and Robert Hilchey.
He is survived by: his significant other Lenora; and his children, Kevin (Debbie), Karen, Richard (Bev) and Stephen (Roseanna). He is also survived by grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's United Church (188 Wellington St, Miramichi, NB E1N1M4).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Riverside Cemetery, St. Andrew's United Church or Percy's Place would be appreciated by the family.
