He was predeceased by: his parents, Albénie and Rosée (Cormier); his wife Gérène Roy; and his siblings, Dorraine Lizotte, Corinne Jerome, Lillianne Cormier, Théodule, Stanley, Hervé, Donald, Leo and Aris.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Bastarache (Larry Leaman) of Dieppe and Richard (Ivania) of Elizabeth, NJ; his grandchildren, Natalie (Marc Gautreau), Marc Bastarache (Tracy), Oriana, Danielle and Ela; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Maelle, Sadie, Jake and Chloé; his brother Armand of Dieppe; his close friend Elizabeth "Betty" Carpenter of Moncton; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Falkowski (Stanley) of Garfield, NJ, Phyllis Roy of Dieppe, Yvon Roy (Barbara) of Sainte-Marie, Kent and Hector-Eddy Richard of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
