He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Sweeney and Catherine Sweeney (Lake); his wife Sheila Sweeney (Wells); his children, Scott (Antonietta), Patrick (Amanda) and Catherine (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Emily, Christian, Hailey, Serena and Austin.
