Alphonsus Donovan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alphonsus Donovan of Moncton, New Brunswick, born in Renous, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 28, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bentley Donovan and Theresa Donovan (Hogan); his son Stephen; his siblings, Edwina, Vera, Gordon, Gerald and Joan; and his son-in-law Brennan Dawson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Dawson (late Brennan), Janice Donovan and Jill Donovan (Dan Ross); his sister Sylvia LeBlanc (late Raymond); his grandchildren, Ryan Dawson, Nick Dawson, Melissa Cormier (Justin), Alyssia Donovan (Chris Elson), Samantha Melvin (Jesse) and Veronica Donovan-Ross; and his great grandchildren, Maycii, Conor and Nash.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the local SPCA (monctonspca.ca) or Alzheimer Society of N.B. (alzheimer.ca/nb) would be appreciated.
