He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Forsyth and June Forsyth (Barton); and his wife Lottie Forsyth. He is survived by : his children, Eileen Forsyth (Steve Park) of Cambridge, ON, Vaughn Forsyth of Barrie, ON and Beverly Matthews (Terry) of Kitchener, ON; his grandchildren, April Bevan, Cheryl Goga, Jessy Forsyth, Brittany McTaggart, Peter Forsyth and Thomas Vokey; and his close friend Jennie Steeves. He is also survived by his 7 great-grandsons.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salisbury Funeral Home (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
