He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Arthur Young and Elsie May Pullam; his son Ward; his siblings, Robert and Marina. He is survived by : his wife Lyn (Fraser); his sons, Warren (Faye), Brian and David; his grandchildren, Arden Young (James Venus), Jeff Young (Nea) of Ottawa, Kelsey Bauzin (Mark) and Chantal Young; his great grandchild Jackson Venus. He is also survived by his boys and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation Learning Centre or any meaningful charity.
