She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Carson and Martha Carson (Sutherland); her husband Lester; her son Allen; and her siblings, Jean MacDonald, Phyllis Templeton, Audrey Wheaton, Ralph and Gordon Carson.
She is survived by: her daughter Nadine Silk (Randall); her daughter-in-law Sharon Alward of Moncton; her grandchildren, Anthony Alward, Tanya Coleman (Jay), Haley Jane Silk (Andrew), Jeffrey Silk (Jennifer) and Craig Silk (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Anna, Autumn, Josephine, Peter, Jay and Margot.
