She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Sutherland and Edith Neil (Hamilton); her husband Franklyn; her daughter Rowena; and her siblings, Gerald, Marvin, Donald, Edna and Doris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Walker (Gary) and Sherry Fulton (Lusby). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
