He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McLean and Sophie McLean; his former wife Anne Marie McLean; his grandson Stephen; and his siblings, Alex and Marg.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy McLean (McNeil); his sons, Kevin (Thuy) of Moncton, Keith (Valerie) of Moncton and Michael of Moncton; his grandchildren, Chris, Megan and Josie; his great grandchildren, Sylas and Cyniah; and his siblings, Harry, Karen, Donna and Julie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
