He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Potter and Pearl Potter (Fraser); and his siblings, Elaine Mont (late Bill), Lois Whitman (late Harry) and Joseph Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Potter (Milburn); his children, Jean Potter of Quebec, Robert F. Potter (Heather) of Montreal and David Potter (Cathy Orr) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Carrie McGinn (Hugo), Caitlin McGinn (Aaron), Christianne McGinn (Joseph), Caleb McGinn, Jennifer Tyo (Eric) and Christopher Potter (Leah); his great grandchildren, Maeve, Theia, Ryley and Viviane; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Easton and Elizabeth Potter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
