She was predeceased by: her parent Lloyd Miner; and her son Shawn. She is survived by: her parent Hester Miner (Arthur); her husband Robert Basque; her children, Rob, Angela Jamieson (Paul Edgett) and Andrea Basque; her granddaughters, Keira, Reese, Aurora and Cailin; and her brother Peter Miner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Cheryl's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
