He was predeceased by: his parents, Néri Melanson and Alice Melanson (Drisdelle); his significant other Kathleen McIntyre; and his siblings, Lorraine Cormier (Paul), Germaine Melanson (Alphonse) and George.
He is survived by: his siblings, Claudette LeBlanc (late Don), Pauline Belliveau (Alfred "Fred") and Roger (Sherry); and his sister-in-law Roberte Melanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Centre Funéraire Frenette Funeral Centre (88 Church St, Moncton, NB E1C4Z5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
