He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Doucette and Agnes Doucette of St. Felix; his wife Mary "Betty" Doucette (DesRoche); and his siblings, Olive DesRoches, Theresa Boucher, John, Paul and Nelson Doucette.

He is survived by: his children, Kim LeBlanc (Andy) of Moncton, Dean Manderson-Doucette (Kelli) of Moncton, Bryan Doucette (Angela) of Moncton and Mike Doucette (Coralee) of Moncton; his sister Pat Williams (Allison) of Summerside, PEI; and his sisters-in-law, Roberte Doucette (late John) of Shediac, NB and Theresa Doucette (late Paul) of St. Felix, PEI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
