He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hoar and Vera Hoar (Ward); and his brother Charles "Chick" Hoar. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Hoar and Nancy Field (Stephen); and also, Sheila and Ray. He is also survived by his four nephews.
