He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Payne and Frances Payne (Maynard); his daughter Denise Marlene Payne; his granddaughter Jessica Hebert; and his great grandchild Dallas Hebert.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Payne (Power); his children, Donald "Don" Payne Jr. (Janice) and Nicole Payne; and his sister Edna Payne.
