He was predeceased by: his father William Gillis; Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Saunders); his children, Audrey Cochrane (Matt), Laura Frost (Brady) and William Gillis (Hoa Vo); his grandchildren, Molly, James, Mary, Ruby and Jack; his siblings, Diane Prosser (Eric), Kathie Blomsma (Paul), Patti Trites (Stevie), Danny (Timmie), Mike (Janet) and Peter (Trina); and his nephew Saunders.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Saunders Cemetery.
