He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan MacGregor and Sadie MacGregor; his brothers, Alastair and Gary MacGregor; and his nephew Allan MacGregor (Amanda).

He is survived by: his wife Karen MacGregor; his brother Ian MacGregor; and his siblings-in-law, Violet MacGregor, Patricia Lambert, Bill Lambert and Geoffrey Estabrooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
