He was predeceased by: his daughter Brandi Dawn Tavender. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rose Hoover; and his children, Donald James Hoover (Brenda), Kimberly Doucette, Rebecca Hoover (Chris), Cassandra St. Louis (Andrew) and Amy Hoover (Jennie).
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (25 War Veterans Ave, Moncton, NB E1C0E7).
