He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Welling and Margaret Welling (Long); his wife Jean Marvena; and his brothers, Bonner and Douglas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret McLaughlin (late Larry), Elizabeth MacFarlane (late Donald) and Stewart Welling (Charline). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center (330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, NB E1B0E4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
