He was predeceased by: his parents, Félicien Roy and Eva Marie Roy (Després). He is survived by: his wife Sheila McCarthy; his daughter AnnMarie Roy; his siblings, Phyllis Pellerin (Ronald "Ron") and Jean-Paul; his niece Nicole Pellerin; and his nephew Michael Pellerin. He is also survived by many friends and cousins.

Due to the pandemic, the funeral service will be celebrated at a later date.
