He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold DeWare and Mildred DeWare (Scott); and his siblings, Judith and Roger. He is survived by: his children, Heather DeWare (Claude Savoie), Michael DeWare (Diane Watts) and Scott DeWare; his grandchildren, Megan Savoie, Stephanie Savoie, Danielle, Rebecca DeWare and Mitchell DeWare; his great grandchild John (Douglas Stam); and his sister Joan Donovan.
