We announce the death of Edgar A. LaFrance of Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 20, 2026. Edgar will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanislaus LaFrance and Amanda LaFrance (Cormier); and his brother Francis. He is survived by: his wife Edith LaFrance (Nowlan); his children, Michelle LaFrance of Moncton, Kim LaFrance-Blackier of Moncton, Christine LaFrance of Moncton and André (Gabrielle Montello) of Montréal, Qué.; his grandchildren, Mathieu, Luc, Andrew, Abigail, Samuel and Gabriel; his great grandchildren, Sebastien, Aurora, Micah, Elijah, Dayna and Ira; and his siblings, Lorraine LaFrance of Moncton, Gloria Landry of Shippagan, François (late Valérie) of Dieppe and Charles (Lucie) of Dieppe. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
