He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Somers and Elizabeth Somers (Grant); and his wife Jean (Blakley). He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Betty", Charles (Susan), Dale (Wendy), Susan Walsh (Bob) and John; his grandchildren, Tammy Clement (Marc), Jeff (Andrea), Jillian Somers and Lauren Wilson (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Ashley (Skylar), Dan (Payton), Brandon, Rowan, Avery, Alice, Taylor and Charlotte; his great great grandchildren, Kinsley and Emma; and his sisters, Vera Green, Phyllis Guptill and Betty Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
