He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Melanson and Margaret Melanson (Steeves); and his siblings, Gladys, Jean, Henry and Allen.
He is survived by : his wife Audrey (Pell); his daughter Karen Melanson (Paul Pettipas) of Riverview; and his sisters, Joyce Melanson (Jimmy Gaudet) of Moncton and Florence Gallant (late Jimmy) of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
