He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa (Terry); and his parents, James Leo Riordan of Saint John, NB and Mary Gertrude Riordan (Commins) of Bath, NB.. He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Colleen Riordan and Patricia Riordan-Lowe (RN); his grandchildren, Karolynn, Krystopher, Bradleigh, Stephanie, Eric and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Tucker.

Memorial Donations may be made in Ted's name to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, the Cancer Society or to the Albert House (Hospice).
