He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Mitchell and Catherine Mitchell (Gaye); and his children, Stephen Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell and Melody Kaye.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Stewart (Jack), Tyler Mitchell, Trevor Mitchell and Terri Warren (John). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Fair Haven Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9).
