Father Bernard J. Sloan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Father Bernard J. Sloan of Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sloan (Howell) and Barney Sloan of Moncton; and his sisters, Susan Payne and Carol Ann Sullivan. He is survived by: his brother Michael (Theresa) of Bedford, NS; his brother-in-law Tim Sullivan of Riverview, NB; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Sloan (Paul), Kelly Sullivan, Jennifer Payne (Jason Gray), Katie McGillivary (Ryan), Rodney Sloan (Karen), Adam, Tyler Sloan (Alie), Sean Sullivan and Stephen Payne (Tanya). He is also survived by many grand nephews and nieces, as well as extended family and his many friends.
Due to attendance restrictions pertaining to COVID-19 imposed by the Province, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated with limited family only at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church with Archbishop Valéry Vienneau presiding, concelebrated by Rev. Allison Carroll.
