We announce the death of Fay MacTavish (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 77. Fay will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Glennie and Hazel Glennie; and her siblings, Evelyn "Dubby" Elizabeth, Helen Una, Gordon Stanley, Donald George and James Melvin.
She is survived by: her husband James MacTavish; her sons, William and Grant MacTavish; her grandchildren, August, Delilah MacTavish and Jamie Schmidt; and her siblings, Dorothy Ellen, Kenneth Wayne, Carol May, John Lawrence and Stewart Ross.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Fay's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family has chosen to send donations to All Funds.
