“On behalf of the Moncton Area Amateur Radio Club, we send our condolences to the family of our brother amateur radio operator, Frank, VE9FD. Frank was active in the club and will be missed by all. In the amateur radio community, we refer to an amateur radio operator who has passed away as a silent key. This is because their morse code key has gone silent. VE9FD (SK).”
