It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gavin J. Dempsey (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dempsey and Mildred Dempsey; and his siblings, Floyd and Francis. He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughters, Shelly MacNevin (Dennis), Christine Dempsey (Steve Scott) and Donna Dempsey (JP Robichaud); his grandchildren, Kevin, Allyson, Ashley, Bryanne, Austin, Madison and Jake; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Grace, Elvira, Jaxon, Keegan and Georgia; his brothers, Eugene and Douglas Dempsey; and his sister-in-law Leona Dempsey.
