He was predeceased by: his parents, George H Hennessy and Nora Hennessy (Weaver); his wife Freda Hennessy (Underhill); and his siblings, Robert (Doris), Weaver (Jeannine), Leonard (Theresa), Annie Colford (James), Evelyn Hennessy (Dave MacDonald), Margaret Tremblay (Roland) and Noreen Hennessy.
He is survived by: his daughters, June Brown and Jill Hennessy (Joel Rinzler); his grandchildren, Erin Brown and Brian Brown (Karine Arseneault); his brother Laurence Hennessy (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Faye Brophy and Lyona Underhill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Raphael's Catholic Church (107 Main St, Blackville, NB E9B1N7).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George's name to a charity of choice. The family has chosen to send donations to All Funds.
