He was predeceased by: his parents, George Price and Gladys Price; his close friend Doreen Lawson; his brothers, Loyal Stuart and Mariner Price (Skip); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Prince and Mark Beaumont.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Price; his children, Robert Price, Richard Price and Susan Price; his stepchildren, Richard Hyslop and Jennifer Redbourne (Lance); his siblings, Joanne Shaban (Charles), Michael Price, Dennis Price and Bonnie Murray (James); his grandchildren, Lena, Benson and Marisa; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlin, Emma, Sophie, Michael and Elizabeth; his sister-in-law Kim Price; and his friend Wayne Gaskin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's honour to the Forest Dale Foundation, Hillsborough United Church or a charity of their choice.
