He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Dempsey and Lucy Jane "Dolly" Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Oswald (Darlene) of Ont, Martin (Ida) of Moncton, Jerry (Shaunda) of Moncton, Tim (Stella) of Moncton, Bonnie (Chris) of Moncton, Nora of Moncton and Marie of Moncton. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
