He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Florence Leaman; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Jean Osside, Helen Harpell and Gregg Saunders.
He is survived by: his son Greg; and his siblings, Georgina Cormier of Moncton, NB, Florence Smith of Ottawa, ON and Sterling of LaSalle, QC. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
