She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Anderson and Mathilda Anderson (Grenkie); and her husband Melvin "Mike" Richard. She is survived by: her children, Gordon "Gordie" (Lucy) of Moncton, Roderick "Rod" (Paulette) of Moncton, Sandra "Sandi" Partridge of Bedford, NS, Marilyn Savoy (Steve) of Cocagne and Nancy of Moncton. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
