She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Govang and Winnifred Govang (Little); her husband David Robert McElroy (Bob); and her brothers, Charles and Malcolm Govang.
She is survived by: her sons, Robbie of Montréal and Scott of Ottawa; her brother Dana (Dee); and her grandchildren, Hannah and Shannon. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.
