Irénée Collette Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2026, Irénée Collette of Moncton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Irénée departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irénée may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irénée leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Célestin Collette and Emma Collette (Hébert); and his siblings, Rosée, Marie, Calixte, Alfred, Oscar, Léo and Irène.

He is survived by: his daughter Irene Trenholm (Sydney "Syd") of Moncton; and his sister Marguerite Reimer (Kenneth "Ken") of Winnipeg, MB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
