She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Doucet and Eveline Doucet; her husband Donald Melanson; and her siblings, Laurie Doucet, Raymond Doucet, Edgard Doucet, Stella Benwell, Rita Doucet, Gloria Jubinville, Diane Melanson and Paul Doucet.

She is survived by: her son Darren Melanson (Sylvie); her grandchildren, Anika and Matthieu; and her niece Michelle Jubinville. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
