He was predeceased by: his parents, Alezander Bastarache and Olive Bastarache (Petitpas); his son Alan; and his siblings, Edgar, William "Blackie", Francis and Rosita.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Williams; his children, Sheila Furlong (Travis) and Joey Bastarache (Sarah); his stepchildren, Rachael Williams (Robert), Kelly Pulka-Bailey (Brian) and Tracey Gallant; and his siblings, Gerald (Betty), Edmond (Diane), Jeaninne (Del) and Alcide (Barb). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
