He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carleton and Alice Carleton; his wife Nadine Carleton (Cunningham); his children, Karolyn and Craig Carleton; and his brothers, William, Robert, Harold, Charles, Ralph and Stuart.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Smart (Terence) and Jeffrey Carleton (Mary Jane Richards); his children-in-law, Peter Babin and Kathleen Quigg; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Liam, Seth, Kate, Alexander, Elly, Kathleen and Scott.
