He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alyre and Ida LeBlanc; his granddaughter Amanda Allain; and his siblings, Theresa, Emery, Yvan and Alyre.

He is survived by: his wife Simonne LeBlanc; his children, Richard of Moncton, Roger of Moncton, Claudette LeBlanc (Bruce Allain) of Moncton and Raymond (Mary Jane Barry) of Alberta; his grandchildren, Brooke LeBlanc (Josh Trevors), Jonathan Chaisson and Justin Allain; his great grandchild Faith; and his sisters, Doris Mills (late Paul) of Dieppe and Jeannine Gaudet (late Armand) of Mass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
