She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Daniel Blakney of Moncton; her son Scott Blakney (Anne) of Alma; her grandson Jacob Daniel Blakney; her siblings, Debbie MacLellan (Alan) of Moncton, Wayne Jones (Rhonda Norbirg) of Terrace, BC, Stephen Jones (June) of Dartmouth, NS, Kim Jones (Joanne) of Riverview and Shane Jones (Kris Morgan O'Reilly) of Nova Scotia; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Johnson, Richard, Russ and Tom Blakney. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
