He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Hicks and Catherine F. Hicks; his in-laws, Sumner S. and Muriel C. Alward; and his siblings, Robert (Bob) and Elaine Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his grandson Bentley; his son Christopher (Karee); his siblings, James (Sandra), Carol Ann, Glenn (Karen), Gary (Cindy), Dennis (Lydia), Brian (Kim), Mark (Kim) and Harold; and his sister-in-law Jo Plume.
In Karl's memory, donations can be made to First Baptist Church Moncton, the Canadian Cancer Society or The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be much appreciated by the family.
