He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Layton and Gertrude Layton (Kelly); and his siblings, Harold Jr., Michael and Elaine.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica Symes (Sam) and Joshua Layton (Kayla); his grandchildren, William, Amelia, Laura, Vincent, Lavana, Melody, Violet, Aura and Nayva; and his siblings, Gloria Roberts (Brian), Sharon Pollock (Richard), Brian Layton (Pat), Larry Layton (Violet), Debby Bleakney (Jack), Kathy Arthurs (Ted), Linda Gillcash (Lorne), Joanne Solomon (Bryan) and Susan Layton (Joe). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
If desired, donations made to the Wheaton Settlement Cemetery or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
